I keep busy with having fun with the family, especially my 4 grandchildren. My hobbies are Travelling , which I have done and still do extensively. To keep fit I run twice a week with a Running Club. Martin
I'm Martin I joined Dawn Patrol in 2007, 5 years after the club started. I was working as a private stockbroker and wanted to get involved in community projects. Since then I have organised an inter-primary school music competition for four consecutive years. As a Rotarian I have been to Kerala 6 times volunteering and financially supporting SEN schools and orphanages. Have aided the design and construction of several sensory rooms in schools, etc. In my spare time I am trustee/treasurer for a SEN charity in Maidstone.
Mary
My name is Mary and I am club secretary and one of the founder members of Maidstone Dawn Patrol which chartered in 2002. I am now actively retired, having spent 50 years on and off in the Legal Profession which I enjoyed very much. I am married with three grown up children and two great grandchildren. My hobbies are walking, travelling, gardening, reading, trips to the theatre and meeting up with many friends I have been lucky enough to have made over the years. I enjoy my weekly meetings with Rotary and taking part in the activities of the Club, where I have made many friends, acquaintances and interesting people.
Dennis
Hi I'm Dennis. I've been a Rotarian for 35 years. I live in Ashford and used to work in Maidstone but no longer. I've stayed in Dawn Patrol Maidstone Club because the members are nice bunch of people. A Rotarian can visit any Club in the World; in my time I've been to Clubs in France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, India, and, more. There is always a warm welcome at a Rotary Club whether you're in Maidstone or even Madrid.
Clinton
Hi I'm Clinton and I'm a retired vicar although still active in public ministry, and before ordination I practised as a solicitor. My special area of interest, which led me to join Dawn Patrol, is the Maidstone Young Musician competition, which is run and funded by the club. My wife, Nancy, who is a professional musician, advises and works alongside the other members in organising this annual event.
Bryan
Hi I'm Bryan I've been involved for many, many years but have only been a member for the last 5 years I've been involved with many of the club's fund raising activities for distribution to local charitable organizations. Currently I'm the Assistant Governor for our District, which keeps me fully involved with all things Rotary, most weekends I enjoy social events and try to keep the politics of Rotary to a minimum, enjoying the fellowship and friendships we have made
Kev
Hi I’m Kev I’m an Independent Financial Adviser based just outside Maidstone, in Sutton Valence and prior to that I worked in Banking for 30 years. It should therefore come as no surprise that I’m the Treasurer for the Club and the reason why I joined Rotary was to try and give something back. My interests and hobbies centre around fitness and exercise, specifically Obstacle Course Races and crazy running challenges.

I have been involved in community and charity work in one guise or another for most of my adult life and genuinely like helping people. I was involved with Chernobyl Children Life Line (Maidstone Link) - a charity seeking to promote the wellbeing of children affected by the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in Ukraine in 1986 and enjoyed organising the programme of events for the children who visited Maidstone for a recuperative summer break each year. Currently I am a volunteer with the Children of Kerala charity and have recently become a governor of a local primary school. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening and ballroom and Latin American dance.
