Maidstone Young Musician 2019 Competition Winner: Matthew Hua
Matt Hua, an eighteen-year-old pianist from Maidstone Grammar School, has completed his A levels and will be attending the University of York in September to read Music and Sound Recording.
He began studying the piano at age 6, having completed all his grades by age 14 and is currently working towards the ARSM diploma with Nancy Litten.
Other than studying the piano he also plays drums in a band. He also teaches younger students the piano, something he has really enjoyed doing for the past two years.
