Maidstone Hospital Renal Clinic Garden: 19th November

Wednesday 19th November we were back at the Renal clinic intending to complete the paved area to the front of the unit; driving there with the wipers fighting off rain and sleet it seemed that we would have to postpone however when I arrived Barry and Bryan were already in action.

We managed to finish all the slab laying but due to the recent rains the landscaping around and up to the paving will have to wait.

Doubtless through the winter months this won’t affect anyone, but we should have it all tidy come springtime.

This work has been funded by the Kent Kidney Patients Association (KKPA).

Maidstone Hospital Renal Clinic Garden: 27th October

Today members of Dawn Patrol RC attended the Renal Clinic at Maidstone Hospital, continuing our project to restore and maintain the gardens for the benefit of staff and patients.

We previously installed a paved seating area to the rear of the clinic and today we started work to install a similar area to front; this will allow users to benefit from some quiet time in the sunshine, whatever the time of day.

The photos show the before during and after, pending the completion of a path leading to the seating area from the existing paving.
